Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Affiliated Societies to Host ESCRS Winter Meeting 2028

ESCRS is inviting Expressions of Interest from eligible affiliated societies interested in hosting a potential ESCRS Winter Meeting in 2028.

The ESCRS Winter Meeting is a focused educational meeting designed primarily to support the early-career development of young ophthalmologists, residents, trainees and early-career cataract and refractive surgeons.

The meeting provides opportunities for interactive learning, expert engagement, mentoring, discussion and professional development.

Applications are invited from ESCRS-affiliated National Societies and ESCRS-affiliated international ophthalmic societies. Societies must be affiliated with ESCRS at the time of submission to be eligible. 

Applicants should demonstrate how their proposed destination and meeting concept would support ESCRS's educational objectives, engage early-career ophthalmologists, offer a relevant regional educational theme, and provide a suitable environment for delegates, faculty and industry partners.

Expressions of Interest must be submitted through the online EOI form by 31 August 2026.
