About EuroTimes
EuroTimes is the magazine of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS).
Started in 1996 as Cataract and Refractive Surgery EuroTimes, it was renamed ESCRS EuroTimes in July 1999.
The magazine covers educational content from the ESCRS Annual Congress, ESCRS Winter Meeting, and other major industry meetings in Europe and North America.
EuroTimes also shares information about ESCRS programs and events, such as reducing waste in cataract packs, sending training simulators to countries with limited access, and improving eye care in low-income countries.
Besides updates on ophthalmic research and how-to articles on surgical training, EuroTimes discusses topics like challenges for women in ophthalmology, doctors' self-care, and eye care for athletes.
EuroTimes is printed every two months and mailed to ESCRS members and selected ophthalmic professionals. Issues are also posted on the ESCRS website, with articles searchable by topic.
