Purpose
To present a case of Juvenile glaucoma and Band-shape keratopathy following Juvenile Arithritis
Setting
MVZ Ostbayern
Methods
The elevated eye pressure was treated with maximal systemic and topical treatment and was complicated with band-shape keratopathy. PRK combined with EDETA was done for both eyes and the glaucoma therapy was continued. 6-m postoperatively, combined Hydrus and ELT laser was done bilaterally
Results
Cornea band shape keratopathy was successful and the cornea remained clear. IOD preoperatively was RA 30 mmHg LA 24 mmHg under max therapy. following the combined MIGS procedure IOD was 1st week 8 mmHg without medication and 1m was 20 mmHg which necessitated adding Latanoprost drops at bed time
Conclusions
combined MIGS surgery could be a solution in juvenile Glaucoma with high elevated IOD where trabeculectomy could be risky
