Purpose

We are reporting a case of a newborn with a severe presentation of limbal dermoid with a presentation typical of Goldenhar syndrome, where we followed for almost 5 months now since birth and we are unable to do any surgical intervention due to the severity of the presentation and the depth of corneal involvement together with the challange of other comorbidities in the child

Setting

we reported the case by taking photos of the lesions after permisiion of the parents and the child is followed up now for 5 months. Reviewing the literature for similar cases and current surgical options for treatment was done and till now thw decision was difficult to take . This made this case a challanging case.

Conclusion/Take home message

Limbal dermoids associated with Goldenhar Syndrome, although reported in the literature, can sometimes be severe and challenging to the degree of being a really difficult decision and consideration of the child's condition and involving the parents in every step is really important
