To showcase how a native treatment of lice removal from hair with crushed custard apple seed causing dangerous epithelial toxicity

Report of case
This was a case of a young girl who came with bilateral total epithelial defect with no history of trauma and foreigh body injury . On further detailed questions she said she had bath with crushed custard apple seed and the eyes started to burn with vision loss
Conclusion/Take home message
Prompt treatment and identificatiion of the foreigh body from the eye and correct management with BCl and medications can save the eye
