Purpose
To show how the viteous clump in anterior chamber over the intraocular lens can mimic descemet membrane detachment on anterior segment OCT.
Setting
Tertiary eye care centre in North India
Methods
A meticulous examination on slit lamp can diagnose the a lot of pathologies including ac reaction, vitreous in anterior chamber. Presence of vitreous in anterior chamber can present as tag or clump. In our case, vitreous clump in ac with iris pigments can present as air bubble. So, to look for diagnostic purpose, an ASOCT was done, which mimicked descemet membrane detachment in anterior chamber.
Results
This is an interesting case showing an unusual finding in anterior chamber due to complicated surgery.
Conclusions
Diagnostic use of ASOCT can help us diagnose many cases but can falsely mimic DMD in case of vitreous clump in AC.
