Purpose
To evaluate the repeatability of anterior segment parameters using the MS-39 in patients with dry eye disease.
Setting
Tertiary care center, Dhahran Eye Specialized Hospital
Methods
Prospective cross-sectional study on 52 eyes with repeated MS-39 scans; analyzed using coefficient of repeatability, coefficient of variation, intraclass correlation, and the repeated-measure analysis of variance.
Results
Excellent repeatability in most parameters (intraclass correlation >0.98, coefficient of variation <15%), except corneal astigmatism (coefficient of variation ~52%). Repeatability declined with worsening Ocular Surface Disease Index and Tear Break-Up Time.
Conclusions
MS-39 demonstrates high repeatability in dry eye disease except for astigmatism, where tear instability introduces variability.
