Purpose
To evaluate visual performance and cumulative visual acuity at different distances and patient-reported outcomes (PROMs) in myopic post-LASIK patients implanted with two models of an inverted meniscus IOLs ArtIOLs (Voptica SL, Murcia, Spain), ArtIOLs® 40-EDF and ArtIOLs® 70-FVR, designed to enhance depth of focus through different levels of induced negative spherical aberration.
Setting
Oftalvist Murcia, Spain
Methods
10 cataract patients who had previously undergone myopic LASIK surgery were implanted bilaterally with ArtIOLs® 40 and ArtIOLs® 70 IOLs. One month after the last surgery best-corrected (BCDVA) and uncorrected (UDVA) distance, intermediate (66 cm) and near visual acuity (40 cm) were measured monocularly and binocularly. PROMs were collected from 8 patients using the Quality of Vision Questionnaire (QoV) and a Patient-Reported Spectacle Independence questionnaire (PRSIQ).

Conclusions
In myopic post-LASIK patients, binocular implantation of full visual range IOLs ArtIOLs® 40 and ArtIOLs® 70 provides excellent vision at all distances up to 40 cm, with high spectacle independence and reduced photic disturbances. ArtIOLs® are a promising option for post-LASIK patients seeking high-quality vision across all distances.
