Purpose
To compare corneal biomechanics post femto LASIK and CLEAR surgery.
Setting
Tertiary private eye hospital, India
Methods
A prospective study, where patients who underwent femto LASIK and CLEAR surgery, aged between 20 to 38 years were enrolled. Subjects with corneal disease, poor scans were excluded. Corneal biomechanics parameters were recorded pre and post surgery using Corvis ST.
Results
18 eyes in each group were matched for age, refractive errors, pachymetry and vinciguerra screening parameters (p>0.05). Post surgery vinciguerra screening parameters found to be similar in both the groups (two sample t test, p > 0.05).
Conclusions
Vinciguerra screening parameters were found to be comparable in both femto LASIK and CLEAR group.
