Purpose
To present a case report of a patient with a unilateral total limbal stem cell deficiency (LSCD) secondary to severe ocular surface burn.

Report of case
To present case results after treatment simple limbal epithelial transplantation (SLET) in a patient with unilateral total limbal stem cell deficiency (LSCD) secondary to severe ocular surface burns.
Conclusion/Take home message
Chemical injury of the cornea is a true ocular emergency and requires immediate intervention.
Can produce extensive damage to the ocular surface and anterior segment.
Early recognition and treatment can avoid blindness
SLET is a promising technique for treatment of LSCD secondary to ocular surface burns. We conclude that it is a simple technique for the treatment of unilateral complete limbal stem cell deficiency with excellent results.
