The Management Of Acoustic Environment In Refractive Surgery Room And Establishment Of "Taboo Words"

Our objective is to analyze the characteristics of corneal refractive surgery, to explore the impact of the management and application of the acoustic environment in the refractive operating room, and to explore the impact of the establishment of “taboo words” on surgery and patients' experience.

Research and analysis were carried out on the day of corneal refractive surgery in our hospital. Compared with the satisfaction of past surgery, we summed up previous experiences, and adopted acoustic environment management for the entire operating room. 

According to the surgical nursing process, starting from the preparation of the patient's environmental management before surgery, we emphasize on cooperating with doctors during the SMILE scanning and laser treatment stage to control the noise management of the entire operation room, including the opening and closing of the door, the transfer of instruments. Our self-made questionnaire of the department includes the patient satisfaction, operation cooperation rate, length of operation cooperation and so on. At the same time, with the establishment of taboo words misunderstanding of the patients and disturbing words are strictly prohibited in the whole operation process, which greatly improves patients' satisfaction with the operation.

Under the intervention of the sound environment management model, patients cooperate with doctors better. As a result, the operation time was shortened, and the safety of the operation improves.

In the acoustic environment management of corneal refractive surgery, the management of "taboo words" in the operating room has a significant effect on the quality of surgery, which can improve the patient's cooperation rate in refractive surgery and the quality of clinical nursing work, shorten the Operating time, prevent SMILE aspiration, strengthen the sense of responsibility of the nurses, improve the professionalism of the nurses, and improve the patient's nursing satisfaction as a whole.
