Purpose

The case will show how aggressive stage of posterior lenticonus with nearly opened posterior capsule in a congenital white cataract in an infant of 8 months.

Report of case

How we can perform proper anterior capsulorhexis, taking care of the fluidics and how we can save implantation in an open posterior capsule. UBM will show how the lenticonus is an aggressive for reaching mid vitreous. Also, will show the follow up stability.

Conclusion/Take home message

Proper diagnosis of cases of congenital cataract and using the UBM to confirm the diagnosis is mandatory for case of white cataract in infants. Proper tools and strategy before surgery can results in good way of management and proper results.
