Video Summary
A patient prsented with a white cataract in a 32mm long eye and exotropia on this eye. The surgery was performed starting with colouring of tgher anterior capsule with vision blue under OVD. Then the anterior capsule was punctured under aspiration with a 27 gauge needle. A small 2.5mm rhexis was performed first, lens milk was aspirated and the capsular bag was decompressed. Subsequently, the rhexis was enlared to 5.2 mm and phacoemulsification of a leathery nucleus was performed. During this procedure small lens particles were found in the anterior vitreous. While cortex removal a small zonulolysis was found and subsequently a CTR was put in place using a bimanual technique. The IOL was implanted and the case was finished.
