Purpose

To explore the influence of psychological nursing prepositioning on Corvis-ST examination results reliability index QS, to guide clinical work more effectively.

Setting

OCULUS Corvis-ST

Methods

A total of 100 patients who underwent preoperative refractive surgery in our hospital from April to May 2022 were divided into two groups, AB, with 50 patients and 100 eyes in each group.Patients in group A were only informed of correct head and eye position before Corvis-ST examination; In addition to the correct head position and eye position, patients in group B were also informed about their eye feeling during the examination and when to close their eyes for rest before examination. Finally, the percentage of QS value reaching OK in the two groups was counted.

Results

In 100 eyes of 50 people in group A, the QS value of 70 eyes reached OK in the first examination, while that of 30 eyes did not reach OK. In 100 eyes of 50 people in group B, the QS value reached OK in 90 eyes and did not reach OK in 10 eyes, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The reasons for not reaching OK including nervous, blink rate too fast, eyelid exposure area is not enough and other factors.

Conclusions

Psychological nursing preconditioning can improve the reliability index QS standard ratio of Corvis-ST examination results, so that clinical work can be carried out more effectively and patients are more satisfied.
