Purpose
To present long term follow up of arcuate keratotomy with CATALYST (J&J)
Setting
A prospective study conducted on patients who were eligible for AK with FS and had their procedure between 2017 to 2022
Methods
Patients archived from Ein Tal Advanced Eye Center who had FL-AK and completed follow-up visits enrolled. All patients had a routine preoperative evaluation and post-operative includes: Including manifest refraction and Biometry measurements including Lenstar LS 900 and IOL master 500 corneal tomographies with Pentacam and Atlas topography. The corneal axis was defined with all devices' agreement or repeated measurement. The Lenght of the arc and optical zone was chosen according to the Donnenfeld nomogram.
Results
Preliminary results till Mid May.
Conclusions
Arcuate keratotomy with femtosecond laser can is a safe and effective treatment for corneal astigmatism with better long-term results for lower astigmatism of 1.5D
