Purpose
To see if usage of trifocal intraocular lenses in trabeculectomy operated eyes was associated with a good visual result.
Setting
Agrawal Eye Hospital & Institute, Meerut & New Delhi, India.
Methods
15 eyes of 10 patients that were previously trabeculectomy operated underwent phacoemulsification surgery with trifocal lens implantation. Postoperative visual result was evaluated.
Results
All patients fared well post surgery with a good visual gain & experience.
Conclusions
Implantation of trifocal intraocular lenses in previously trabeculectomy operated eyes gives good visual outcome with no untoward effects.
