To evaluate visual outcomes after implantation of Lucidis EDOF IOL in high myopic patients.

Alkindi hospital, ophthalmology department, Tartus, Syria.
This prospective study included 11 eyes of 7 high myopic patients underwent clear lense extraction with Lucidis EDOF IOL implantation .
spherical aberration, best corrected far, intermediate and near visual acuity wete evaluated before and after the surgery and up to six months.
Additionally patient satisfaction was evaluated by a subjective questionnaire.
Far uncorrected visual acuity after surgery was better than best corrected visual acuity before surgery with less but very satisfying intermediate and near visual acuity with no significant changes in spherical aberration. only one patient with bilateral surgery reported slightly blurred near vision.
Clear lens extraction with Lucidis EDOF IOL implementation can be used as a refractive surgery for patients with high myopia
