Purpose
Setting
Methods
20 patients who underwent bilateral implantation with the AsqelioTM Trifocal Toric IOL TTLIO130C were analyzed at 3 months post-surgery. Inclusion criteria considered patients with ≥50 years and bilateral cataract, and exclusion criteria considered preoperative corneal astigmatism <0.75D, previous corneal surgery or trauma, irregular cornea, amblyopia among others. Main outcome measures obtained were refractive error, photopic monocular and binocular uncorrected and corrected distance visual acuity, uncorrected and corrected distance intermediate visual acuity at 60 cm, uncorrected and corrected distance near visual acuity at 40 cm. Monocular and binocular defocus curves, rotational stability and adverse events were also analyzed.
Results
Conclusions
The present analysis at 3 months post-implantation of the AsqelioTM Trifocal Toric IOL TTLIO130C will shows the refractive and visual outcomes at different distances, rotational stability and intra and post-operative adverse events after cataract surgery in astigmatic eyes.
