Purpose
To evaluate the clinical outcomes after mix-and-match cataract surgery using an Extended Depth of Focus (EDOF) and a trifocal intraocular lenses (IOLs)

Tertiary training hospital

Results
66 eyes of 33 patients enrolled. At 1 month mean UDVA (logMAR) was 0.09 ± 0.16 in EDOF IOL-implanted eyes, 0.10 ± 0.16 in trifocal IOL-implanted eyes, and 0.01 ± 0.03 in both eyes. Mean UIVA was 0.08 ± 0.07 in EDOF IOL-implanted eyes, 0.12 ± 0.11 in trifocal IOL-implanted eyes, and 0.03 ± 0.04 in both eyes. Mean UNVA was 0.42 ± 0.2 in EDOF IOL-implanted eyes, 0.21 ± 0.18 in trifocal IOL-implanted eyes, and 0.16 ± 0.14 in both eyes. 24 patients (72.7%) satisfied 1 month after surgery. Only 5 patients (15.2%) needed near glasses.
