Carl Zeiss Meditec showed the new OPMI Lumera 700 surgical microscope with built in swept-source OCT and CALLISTO eye toric IOL alignment system at the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery 2018 Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, USA. The new IOLMaster 700 with swept-source OCT that can measure curvature of the posterior cornea for more precise IOL power estimation also was on display. These advanced features are available in Europe, but not yet in the USA.
