Santen Canada Inc., a subsidiary of Santen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has announced that the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health Canadian Drug Expert Committee released a reimbursement recommendation for Verkazia TM (cyclosporine 0.1%) eyedrops. “This recommendation marks an important step towards providing patients access to this new formulation of cyclosporine eye drops in Canada. Provincial jurisdictions are the final decision makers on public reimbursement,” said a Santen spokeswoman. www.santen.com
