The Art of War
Congratulations to Senior Designer Lara Fitzgibbon and the ESCRS EuroTimes team for winning Cover Of The Year - Business Media at the 2018 Irish Magazines Awards. The winning cover was The Art Of War, published in September, 2018, which focused on Cataract And Refractive Complications. http://www.eurotimes.org/the-art-of-war/ The judges said this was an original piece of graphic art which aroused curiosity and combined art, literature and science. "The thought and research that went into creating the cover resulted in a blending of traditional Chinese art with a real sense of the threats and opportunities happening in an ophthalmic operating room," said the judges.
