Abstract Details

Studying the anatomical and functional results of wavefront guided treatment using advanced CustomVue technology.

We studied the Degree of myopia; astigmatism;visual acuity;corneal topography;and aberrométrique statement ,before and after treatment, and we have the state of complications over a period of one year post op.

It is a descriptive study on a series of 72 myopic eyes of 44 patients aged from 21 to 38 years. The acquisition of the wavefront is performed by iDesign aberrometer station(AMO). They aretreated with wavefront guided treatment using advanced CustomVue technology, by femtosecond laser fs 60 coupled to laser VISX STAR S4 IR (AMO) .

The average pre-op refraction was -4.50 +/- 2.5D of myopia and 0.8 of astigmatism. treatment was bilateral in 28 patients and unilateral in 16 patients. after the treatement 95% of eyes Achieved 09/10. Topography with aberrometry shows a decrease of optical abberations with a lower RMS to 0.32 in all cases. The postoperative complications were limited to immediate photophopie who disappeared in all cases in time of 3 to 10J.

In lasik excellent results are obtained by using aberrolink customised treatment.
