A 69 old female diagnosed of band keratopathy in both eyes and decided to be performed a PKP to right eye. The initial outcome was very good but two years later, appeared a corneal haze at the graft. Our team performed PTK laser procedure for corneal haze at right and a topical EDTA chelation for band debridement on left eye. Finally in both eyes was performed a cataract surgery procedure with a toric IOL in right eye for high residual astigmatism after PKP and a normal IOL in left eye following with a YAG laser procedure.
Two months after the final procedure vision acuity was 7/10 in both eyes.
We present an efficient management of band-keratopathy with 2 different multi-procedures for each eye.
