All patients manifested healthy macular region and had good vision at all distances with appropriate correction. The patients age ranged from 42-65 years old with the mean of 53,5 years old.

At 6 months follow-up the patients’ mean binocular uncorrected visual acuity was 0,15 logMAR at 4.0 meters and 0.14 logMAR at 40 centimeters. Their mean distance corrected visual acuity values were 0,01 logMAR at 4.0 meters and 0,07 logMAR at 40 centimeter.

The bilateral multifocal IOL implantation is a successful method for presbyopia correction, allowing patients to function without glasses on daily basis.
