Congress Highlights

The XXIX Congress of the ESCRS was highly successful, with a record number of almost 6,000 ophthalmologists attending from across the world.

The extensive scientific programme included 17 symposia, over 700 free paper presentations, over 700 electronic poster presentations, and a wide range of didactic, instructional and wetlab courses. The first ESCRS Glaucoma Day which was held on the Friday was also a great success.

The Congress was held in conjunction with the 2nd EuCornea Congress, which brought a further 600 ophthalmologists to the Reed Messe. This successful collaboration between the two societies will be repeated in Milan next year.

We would like to extend our thanks to all speakers, delegates and exhibitors who attended the Vienna Congress and hope to see you all next year in Milan. MILAN 2012 - CLICK HERE
