Poster Presentations
Poster presentations are divided into the following categories:

A prize of €1000 is awarded to the Best Poster in the Cataract and Refractive categories. A second prize of €500 is also awarded in both categories.
Posters are judged according to the following criteria:
- Originality
- Scientific Quality
- Relevance to Clinical Practice
- Presentation
The prizes are awarded during the Official Congress Opening & Awards Ceremony at 18.30 on Sunday 19th September. In order to receive the prize
the poster presenters must be present at the ceremony. s, Paris .
Posters must be mounted on the display boards before 17.00 on Saturday 18th September and should not be removed before 18.00 on Tuesday 21st September
.
Presenters are required to be present at their poster on
Sunday 19th September between 10.30 - 11.00 and between 13.00 - 14.00 to answer questions from delegates in relation to their mat erial.
The dimensions of the display boards are 120 cm wide by 120 cm high. Materials for attaching your poster to the board will be available at the Registration Desk. Presenters are responsible for removing their poster from the display board. Any posters still on display on Wednesday 22nd September will be removed by the Organisers, who will not be responsible for these materials.
Posters will be divided into three broad categories - Cataract Refractive and Miscellaneous. There is a prize of €1000 for the best poster in Cataract and Refractive category. The judging will take place on Sunday 19th September and the prizes will be awarded at the Official Opening and Awards Ceremony at 18.00 on Sunday 19 th September. In order to be eligible for an award, poster presenters must be registered for the Congress and be present at the ceremony.
If you do not wish to present your poster you should info rm the Programme Organisers in advance of the Congress. Presenters who fail to turn up will not be permitted to present at future meetings. |
