General Information
Payment of the ESONT registration fee entitles delegates to participate in the ESONT didactic programme, to attend scientific sessions of the ESCRS Congress, and to enter the exhibition. Admission to the Congress Welcome Reception is also included.
There is an additional charge for participation in the courses and wetlabs.

Time and Place
The ESCRS Congress will take place at the Palais des Congres, Porte Maillot, Paris from Saturday 18th to Wednesday 22nd September 2004 . The ESONT Programme will take place during the Congress, from Saturday 18th to Monday 20th September.
Official Language
The official language will be English.
VISA
Delegates are advised to contact their Ministry of Foreign Affairs or nearest French Embassy to check whether visas are required for entry to France. To ensure that you have all the necessary information to obtain a visa in a timely manner, please request your letter of invitation from the ESCRS immediately. Please note that a letter of invitation does not guarantee the issue of a visa.
Insurance
Delegates are advised to take out travel insurance to cover medical expenses, accidents, loss etc. No responsibility will be accepted by the Congress Organisers.
Registration desk
Delegates will receive their Congress Pack (badge, final programme, book of abstracts) at the registration desk in the Palais des Congress. Registration will commence on Saturday 18th September at 07.30 am . The registration desk will be staff ed throughout the official Congress hours.
Exhibition
The Congress will be accompanied by a commercial exhibition which will open at 10.00 on Saturday 18th September.
Accommodation
Hotel accommodation in Paris may be booked through the Congress Secretariat..
Tours
Details of the tour programme, including a full description of each tour, are available on the ESCRS website.
Confirmation
Upon payment of correct fees, delegates will receive confirmation of registration.
Cancellation
In the event of cancellation, an 80% refund of registration fees and accommodation payments will be allowed, provided that notice of cancellation is received in writing by the Congress Secretariat before 25th July 2004 . After this date no refund will be allowed. A separate cancellation policy applies to group bookings.
The Congress accounts will be closed by 31 December 2004 . It will not be possible to deal with any queries after this date.
