Abstract Details

To show no changes in axial length measurements after myopic Visian ICL implantation

Instituto de Microcirugķa Ocular (IMO). C/ Josep Maria Lladó, 3. 08035 Barcelona. Spain

We have performed preoperatively and 1 month postoperatively an axial length measurement using the Iolmaster v.5 version in 25 patients (50 eyes) wearing Visian ICL phakic lenses

The mean change in axial length alter myopic Visian ICLimplantation is not stadisticaly significant in a grup of patients with miopķa rnaging from -4 to -13 diopters.

There is no need of special measurements for achieving the correct axial length measurement after myopic Visan ICL implantation
