EuroTimes Regional circulation by geographical area (May 2005)

EuroTimes is circulated monthly to over 25,000 ophthalmologists in over 150 countries worldwide. It is the leading ophthalmic magazine published outside the United States and each of our readers receives a personally addressed copy 12 times a year. EuroTimes is a monthly publication, which allows any advertisement placed to be circulated for a full calendar month. This is particularly important to our advertisers as '3 or 4 ophthalmologists may share one copy of EuroTimes and take turns to read it.' (ASE Readership Survey) Our readers practice in a wide range of ophthalmic sub-specialties including glaucoma, cornea, retina and macular diseases. They rely on EuroTimes to keep them up-to-date on the ever evolving field of ophthalmology.

EuroTimes is a monthly magazine for ophthalmologists published by the European Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS, a non profit organisation). With a focus on the practice of ophthalmology in Europe, the magazine meets the demand for up-to-date timely coverage of scientific congresses and events worldwide. Additional features include articles on personalities, travel, innovation & technology of interest to today’s busy ophthalmologist. The EuroTimes Editorial team is under the direction of Medical Editors Clive Peckar and Paul Rosen. Print Supplements

Printed supplements provide Industry with an opportunity to expand the audience for their educational activities beyond the scope of meetings and Congresses. Over the past years EuroTimes has worked with many companies to prepare supplements and inserts
that highlight new devices, therapies and procedures, and to communicate the company message to the EuroTimes reader. Our 2003 Readership Survey found that EuroTimes readers were very appreciative of this form of communication and found it extremely
useful to their practice.

Printed supplements and inserts can be developed from a wide range of educational activities including EuroTimes Satellite Education Symposia, Roundtables, and one-on-one interviews.
EuroTimes journalists can prepare supplements from material presented at any ESCRS Congresses or other ophthalmology meetings. In addition we can organise turnkey stand-alone sessions and roundtables.

CD Roms can be produced for conference symposia to offer users the oppportunity to re-live the conference experience at their own pace. This method of documenting symposia is particularly beneficial to ophthalmologists who do not have English as their first language.

A CD Rom of your symposium is mailed out with EuroTimes to over 25,000 ophthalmologists worldwide or, to a specific regional target audience decided by the sponsor.
Information can be accessed in an interactive manner and at the users own pace.
Ophthalmologists will be able to easily pass on the information and message of your company on CD Rom to other colleagues. Previous CD ROM titles that have been distributed with EuroTimes are:

Standards in Cataracts and Refractive Technology
- ESCRS Paris 2004

Quality of Vision: Cataract and Refractive Live Surgery
- ESCRS Munich 2003

For the duration of the ESCRS congress, our journalists are on hand to report on the activities taking place at the event and the latest news from the industry. EuroTimes publishes ET Today a daily edition of EuroTimes for distribution each morning to congress delegates. Advertising in ET Today is an excellent vehicle to attract visitors to your stand and advertise your products.

A full sponsorship option of an edition of ET Today is available. ET Today contains articles and highlights of the ESCRS congress in a way that is interesting, informative and allows everyone involved to reminisce about the congress. ET Today is often kept as a souvenir and taken home by delegates to share with their colleagues who were unable to attend the meeting.

Full Sponsorship of an issue of ET Today offers the following to advertisers:

4 out of 8 pages of the daily, dedicated to your company's advertising or
editorial features.

Advertising space options include the outside back and inside front covers.

Editorial coverage of your booth, products or symposia at the ESCRS
annual congress.

Unrivalled coverage at the meeting that will last beyond the event.

EuroTimes Satellite Symposia are held in the Congress Centre outside the time of the main Scientific Programme. All Symposia are sponsored by Industry, and Scientific Programmes are agreed between the sponsor and EuroTimes. All EuroTimes Satellite Meetings
