Uuncorrected visual acuity (UCVA) , best spectacle corrected visual acuity(BSCVA), manifest refraction and contrast sensitivity were measured in all cases.

Results:

Mean preoperative UCVA , BSCVA and spherical equivalents were 0.05 ,0.67 and -11.93 respectively. All these parameters showed statistically significant change in the postoperative period. (p<0.01) .Mean postoperative UCVA,BSCVA , spherical equivalent were 0.64,0.78 and -1.78 respectively. A few operative and postoperative complications were reported in our case series.
