Barcelona 2009 - Instructional Course Abstract Submission
Rules and Regulations
COURSE SUBMISSION DEADLINE : 31 October 2008 You may only submit a maximum of 2 instructional course abstracts. Your submission must explain the overall educational objectives of the course. It must also list all speakers and their presentation titles. Before submitting a course abstract, you must have already contacted all of the speakers and obtained their provisional agreement to participate in the course and to give the presentation as included in your submission. Courses will be of 1 or 2 hours duration. You should indicate the duration of your course in your submission. There may only be 4 faculty members (including course leader) on a one hour course and 6 faculty members (including course leader) on a two hour course. If you select more than the permitted number, only the first 4 (one hour course) / 6 (two hour course) people in the list will be included. It is only permitted for one person to be a leader of two courses and a faculty member of a further four courses. If somebody has been selected to act as a faculty member on more than four courses, they will be contacted and asked for their preference of courses they wish to participate in. Please note that in this instance they may choose not to participate in your course. We will contact you if this is the case. Once a course submission has been selected, you will be informed of this and given a date and time for your course. Once selected, it is not possible to cancel a course. Instructional course presenters who fail to turn up or arrange replacement course speakers will not be permitted to present courses at future ESCRS congresses. You must indicate whether the course leader or any of the faculty members have a financial interest in the subject matter or receive funds from any mentioned company. Click here for more information
