A prize of €2,000 is awarded to the best cataract and refractive poster presentations of the Congress.

A second prize of €1,000 is also awarded in each category.

Poster presentations are judged by an international panel according to the following criteria:

Originality
Scientific Quality
Relevance to Clinical Practice
Presentation

Please note that posters will be shortlisted for the prize judging based on the quality of the abstract.

The prizes are awarded during the Congress Opening & Awards Ceremony on Sunday 14 September 2008. In order to receive the prize, the poster presenters must be present at the ceremony.
