WINDSOR CASTLE AND HAMPTON COURT PALACE

Travel to the historical town of Windsor and visit Windsor Castle, where you will have the opportunity to explore the magnificent State Apartments, still used today for state occasions and royal receptions. You will visit St George’s Chapel, a fine example of gothic architecture and the burial place of many monarchs. You will then travel on to Hampton Court Palace, built in the early 15th century and the favourite palace of Henry VIII. During your visit you will tour the Medieval Kitchens, the Great Hall and the State Apartments. Price per person: €100

OXFORD, THE COTSWOLDS AND STRATFORD-UPON-AVON

Enjoy a walking tour of the cloistered colleges, ancient streets and secluded gardens of Oxford, England’s oldest university city dating back to the 11th century. See traditional rural England at its best with a scenic drive through the Cotswolds, a beautiful area of rolling hills, wooded valleys and unspoilt villages of honey coloured stone and thatched cottages. Follow in the footsteps of William Shakespeare and explore the Tudor market town of Stratford-upon-Avon, where the famous dramatist and poet was born, lived and died. See many of the historic places associated with his life and times, including his birthplace and the church where he is buried. Price per person: €100
