INFORMATION ABOUT CME CREDITS
The XXIV Congress of the ESCRS is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide CME activity for medical specialists.
The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.be.
The number of credits designated for this Congress is based on the EACCME’s system of 3 credits for half a day of educational activity and 6 credits for a full day of educational activity.
When awarding the maximum number of credits to an event, the EACCME considers the duration of the Congress, the scope of the scientific programme and the total amount of time any person may realistically be expected to be engaged in productive educational activity over the period of the Congress.
Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
Each delegate should contact his national CME body directly in order to claim his credits for this Congress.
EACCME credits are recognised by the American Medical Association towards the Physician’s Recognition Award (PRA). To convert EACCME credit to AMA PRA category 1 credit, contact the AMA.
