Vienna 2011 - Abstract Submission NOW OPEN

General Information

The XXIX ESCRS Congress will take place at Reed Messe Wien GmbH, from Saturday 17th to Wednesday 21st September 2011. The ESONT Programme will take place from Saturday 17th to Monday 19th September.

A full programme of wetlabs and courses has been scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. These will be followed by Free Paper sessions, which will take place on Sunday afternoon and Monday morning.

The Symposium will take place on Monday 19th September from 11.00 – 12.30.

Abstract submissions are invited for Free Paper presentations, which will be of ten minutes duration, followed by 5 minuts discussion. Abstract submissions are also invited for electronic Poster Presentations and there will be a first prize of €750 for the best poster presentation. Please see
page 3 for details on how to submit these presentations.

The annual ESONT Gala Evening wil be held on Sunday night at 19.30.

The XXIX Congress of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons will be held at:
Reed Messe Wien GmbH, Vienna, Austria

OFFICIAL LANGUAGE
The official language of the Congress is English.

INSURANCE
Delegates are advised to take out travel insurance to cover medical expenses, accidents, loss, etc. No responsibility will be accepted by the
Congress organisers.

ENTITLEMENTS
Payment of the ESONT registration fee entitles delegates to participate in the ESONT Free Paper sessions and Symposium, to attend the scientific sessions of the ESCRS Congress, and to enter the exhibition. There is an additional charge for participation in the courses and wetlabs.
