Contrast sensibility also proved to be better in the postopetarive than in the preoperative with a statistical significance of p<0.001 for all frequencies studied. There is a statistically significative reduction of the dependence of glasses in the postsugical both the long and near distance, p<0.001 and p<0.009. 90% of the patients show an residual sferic equivalent smaller than 1 dp. The postoperative visual function measured with the test VF 14 is very good with a value of 89.3
